To finish off today's 'Green Day', I thought we might watch the entire 'Great Global Warming Swindle' documentary, created by the HEROIC Martin Durkin, which hopefully will stay up on YouTube long enough for us all to watch it right through without it becoming illegal to do so.
This documentary should be required viewing for all believers in the AGW hypothesis (if we could handle all of the raging and all of the foam that this would generate).
For the record, I hadn't seen this documentary before today, and although I had previously thought I was strongly against the AGW hypothesis, and incapable of becoming even more against this junk science, then this documentary made me laugh out loud about how weak I have been in my condemnation of the brain-dead ecomentalist movement and their nonsensical belief in the AGW hypothesis.
Just watch it all through and you will see what I mean. Anyone who can pick out the parts where I laughed out loud, will be mentioned in despatches:
UPDATE: Paul has found a link to the whole thing, in a Google Video:

Paul, can I call the writer/director of this, Martin Durkin, Heroic?
No you can't. You MUST!
P.S. It seems that whatever is at Google video, stays there. There are even some copyrighted stuff there. Anyways, here's a link to search for videos: http://video.google.com (it searches many video sites, including youtube and vimeo)
Do you know if Durkin finally answered all of the criticisms over his supposed misrepresenting/fabrication of some data?
It was a shame that the controversy over Durkin's apparent reticence to counter all of the criticisms and claims by the two main contributors that they were misrepresented cast a shadow over such a wonderful documentary.
All the latest stuff appears to be on Wikipedia, which I've linked to in the blurb at the top.
It's a shame about the Carl Wunsch volte face, but given the nature of the material and the strength of government, both financially and legally, over all government-funded scientists (which I think in the Western world is ALL of them), it's amazing this documentary has stood up as well as it did.
I think we'll find over time, as it gets colder and carbon dioxide keeps going up, that this documentary will be seen to be a watershed.
What's more interesting is the back-story about why scientists have allowed themselves to be so hung up on the hook of government money, despite seeing what this did in Hitler's Germany and the Soviet Union.
He who pays the piper calls the tune.
So bravo to all the other professors in the film who have been brave enough to stick to their guns.
