It would appear that the alien Pandoran language of the Avatar movie is beginning to attract a following.
As more of a Tolkien man myself, I can see the appeal of learning Elvish, Klingon, and Na'vi, especially if you're a teenager and it means you get to meet hot chicks wearing Star Trek uniforms.
However, I just can't help thinking that there's something terribly sad about it. Though this may simply be because I want everyone to learn Austrianism before they learn anything else. Or at least Mandarin, because that's going to give you an economic edge in the new world economy that is emerging.
Or does the above paragraph simply mean that I am becoming sad myself?
Then again, there's an awful lot of Austrianism within Avatar, so if the Pandoran language leads its adherents through to the tenets of peace, prosperity, and freedom, then it can only be a good thing.
There are many routes through to the ideas of liberty. Let us hope that Na'vi is one of them.

My money's on Mandarin. Or possibly the favourite of many in the Sci-Fi world, which is a mixture of Mandarin and English.
Maybe the 'Singlish' of Singapore is the key to the future! ;-)
