Daniel Hannan: EU is 'in a democratic mess'

Daniel Hannan, the Prince of Light, lays into the EU, accusing it of being nothing more than:

...a racket: a massive mechanism to redistribute money to those lucky enough to be on the inside of the system.

I was also pleased to see that His Princeliness is fully onboard with the Misesian plan for secession:

Return power to national governments or, better, to local authorities – or, best of all, to individual citizens.

Steady, Daniel. Moving power down to the voluntary discretion of individual citizens is, well, ...err..., like, yunno, ... ANARCHO-CAPITALISM! :-)
