I tried to spend a weekend in the Prisoner's house in Portmeirion once, but unfortunately I was told it was the "Prisoner Shop", so I spent the weekend in one of the other "Village" cottages instead.It truly was surreal walking around the Portmeirion village, especially for such a big fan of The Prisoner.
It was therefore with great sadness today that I learned of the death of that great Irishman, Patrick McGoohan. May he rest in peace.
